Northwest Christian's 2B state title run was thwarted on Saturday by last years champions, the Okanogan Bulldogs, as the Crusaders fell 37-10 in a semifinal game at Lions Field in Moses Lake. The Bulldogs running game was too much to handle for Northwest Christian, as Okanogan rushed for 397 yards and scored all five of its touchdowns on the ground. Joey Biel kicked four field goals, including a 37-yarder with 4 seconds remaining, as Northwest Christian (10-2) defeated Asotin 33-32 in a State 2B quarterfinal at West Valley High. The Crusaders, with a seven-game winning streak, will host defending state champion Okanogan in next weekend's semifinals.
