Jake Sieler scored 13 points with six rebounds and St. Maries (14-5) beat New Plymouth (13-12) 49-24 on Saturday in the third place game at the Idaho State 2A tournament at Capital HS. Brady Martin added 11 points and seven boards for the Lumberjacks. New Plymouth was led by Cody Fernley and Riley Harris with five points apiece.

Dylan Anglesey scored 17 points, Matthew Johnson added 16 and Ririe (24-2) knocked off St. Maries (13-5) 59-41 on Friday in an Idaho State 2A semifinal at Capital HS. Jake Sieler led St. Maries with 12 points. The Lumberjacks hit just 5 of 31 from beyond the arc. St. Maries plays in the third place game on Saturday at 10 a.m.
