What happened: Shelby Starr went 4 for 4 and scored three runs and the Tigers (13-3, 7-2) defeated the Indians in the Idaho 3A state play-in game Saturday afternoon. Kyndal Lindley tripled on a 3-1 count in the top of the fifth, scoring two runs to break the tie for Timberlake. Aubrey Mahannah had two RBIs and scored two runs for Buhl. Timberlake will play at the state tournament on Friday against Marsh Valley at 9 AM.

What happened: Becca Malloy pitched a complete game allowing four hits, and hit a home run with three RBIs and the Tigers defeated the visiting Spartans in the Idaho 3A District 1 second place matchup. For the Tigers, Maddy Salois hit a double with four RBIs on the day, and Bernie Carhart went 3 for 3 with three RBIs. Cassandra Deremer scored the only run for the Spartans.
