Kyle Manzardo batted 3 for 3 with two runs and two RBIs to help Lake City beat Timberline 5-2 Thursday in the 5A State quarterfinals at Boise. Dominic Conigliaro earned the win for the Timberwolves, as he struck out seven in a complete-game effort. Lake City will face off with Highland Friday in the semifinals.
