Abby McConnell and Morgan Riojas scored in the 20th and 38th minutes respectively, but West Valley lost 2-3 to White River in the State 2A tournament on Saturday to finish in fourth place.

Abby McConnell scored both goals for the Eagles, but they fell 6-2 to the Patriots in the Shorline Stadium in the 2A state semifinals. West Valley advances to the 2A state third-place match on Saturday at 12 p.m. against the loser of Columbia River vs. White River.
