The Old Hotel in Othello
The Old Hotel in Othello is turning 100 years old on June 23. Today it's an art gallery and a small cafe, but it used to be a bustling place where farmers and railroad workers would stay. In 1975, a group of volunteers from Othello took over the hotel (which by then was closed and not amounting to much), and they've run it ever since. One of the original volunteers is still around.
