Michigan State and Michigan, those fierce in-state rivals, actually have a lot in common at the moment: Both teams are in the Sweet 16 because of their defense. The Spartans and Wolverines played in back-to-back games Saturday in Des Moines, Iowa. Michigan beat Florida 64-49, then Michigan State handled Minnesota 70-50.
