POLICE BLOTTER POST FALLS POLICE

Thomas Akren reported Monday the theft of a car phone hand set, an electric razor, prescription sunglasses and cassettes, valued at $900, from his car while parked at his home on the 200 block of East 4th Street.

Steven Schacher reported Monday the theft of three rifles, valued at $525, from his home on the 1900 block of Park Lane.

Noreen Schelstrate reported Monday the theft of her 1983 Chevy Caprice while parked at her home on the 500 block of East 5th Street. Police recovered the vehicle Tuesday.

Dan Russum reported Tuesday the theft of his 1992 Ford Explorer from his home on the 2000 block of Post Street. Police recovered the vehicle Tuesday. COEUR D’ALENE POLICE

Sonia Swam reported Tuesday the $300 theft of her Norco Mountaineer 21-speed mountain bike. Swam left the bike leaning against a Dumpster at Pizza Hut, 355 W. Hanley.

Edith Sagent, Clermont, Fla., reported Tuesday that she’d left her purse in the ladies’ restroom at Arby’s Restaurant, 424 W. Appleway. When she returned, it was gone, along with $4,500 in travelers’ checks and credit cards. KOOTENAI COUNTY SHERIFF

Duane Colwell, Spokane, reported Tuesday the theft of a 1955 Chevy truck valued at $3,500 and a 1975 Dodge van valued at $1,500 from his brother Dennis Colwell’s property in the 6300 block of State Line, near Post Falls.

Kelle Fitzpatrick, Spokane, reported Tuesday the theft of a dresser, several coats and miscellaneous items valued at $760 from her storage unit at Ross Point Storage, 1125 N. Highway 41. Damage to other items was estimated at $300.
