1994 Garden Tour

When: Sunday, 1-5 p.m.

Tickets: adults, $3; ages 6-18, $1.50; 5 and under, free. Purchase tickets starting Sunday at 1 p.m. (early birds discouraged) at any of the six featured homes. View gardens in any order desired.

Directions to homes: Three of the homes are all on the same street. To reach Don and Donna Luce, S806 Montavilla Drive; Tony and Barbara Hollobon, S814 Montavilla, and Ron and Sherrie Guiles, S826 Montavilla, go west on Second Avenue out Sunset Boulevard to F Street. Turn right on F Street and go to the stop sign. Proceed ahead a half block to Montavilla, then turn left.

To reach Milo and Beverly Bell’s home at S3803 Tekoa, go south on High Drive to 29th, turn left and proceed to Bernard, turn right and proceed to 37th, turn left on 37th and proceed to Tekoa, then turn right.

To reach Ronald and Terri Caferro’s home at S1520 Rockwood, go east on 29th past Grand Boulevard to Garfield. Turn left and follow Rockwood down to 15th.

To reach Della and Chris Meyer’s home at S1722 Bettman Road, go east on Sprague to Havana, turn right and go a half mile to Eighth and turn left. On Eighth go 1.1 mile; just past the Valley View Baptist Church, turn right on Dickey. Proceed on Dickey to Bettman Road.
