Age Group Competitors Vie For Medals

Some age-group competitors will walk away from this year’s Scenic Challenge with more than tired muscles.

The first five finishers in each age division and top three finishers in each relay division will win medals. The top Idaho male and female finishers will receive plaques. The top male and female Kootenai County finishers will receive plaques and one year memberships at Ironwood Athletic Club in Coeur d’Alene.

The top masters male and female finishers - that’s for folks 40 years old and up - will win a 10-ounce bar of silver donated by Coeur d’Alene Mines Corp.

Competitors also will be eligible for drawings for two round-trip airfare tickets to Hawaii from Delta Air Lines, four Quintana Roo wetsuits from Dan Empfield and one Quintana Roo or Specialized mountain bike and one Specialized road bike from Bitterroot Bike and Ski.
