Mount Spokane Future On Agenda

Two separate plans to manage Mount Spokane State Park and ski facility will be discussed at a meeting tonight of the Mount Spokane Planning Task Force Steering Committee.

The meeting starts at 7 p.m. in the north meeting room at the Sheraton-Spokane Hotel.

One plan focuses on maintaining the ecology of the park, while the other focuses on recreation development.

Those unable to attend the hearing can send comments to Marcie Jo Oppenheimer, S720 Cedar Street, No. 1, Spokane, WA 99204. Comments also may be faxed to the steering committee at 206-664-0278.
