Fair To Add Two-Dimensional Art

The North Idaho Fair is going twodimensional this year.

In its remodeled fine arts area, the fair has added space for a new category of artwork. From 3-9 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, the fair will accept entries of two-dimensional art from professional and non-professional artists.

Entry categories for participants over age 14 will include oil, acrylic watercolor, tempera, graphics, pastels and original prints. Entry fees are $1 for non-professional artists and $2.50 for professionals. Each day, the fair will bestow a People’s Choice Award.

The fair will open to the public Aug. 25. For information, call 667-0625.
