“Did you approve that maneuver?” “Sir, no sir.”

“Who did?”

“You must have, sir.”

“No I didn’t, and don’t you ever say that again.”

“Sir, yes sir.”

“Maybe the major did?”

“No way, Bucko. Ask the captain.”

“Hey, I’m only 17 months, two days, three hours and six minutes away from retirement. I never approve anything.”

“What if the crew did it just to be cute?”

“Impossible; that just isn’t done in the United States Air Force.”

“I know, let’s get a congressional investigation. Then nobody will ever know what really happened.”

“Great!”

“I love it!”
