Area Students Receive Grants To Attend Community Colleges Of Spokane
The following area students have received scholarships from the Community Colleges of Spokane Foundation for the 1994-95 academic year:
President’s for Excellence at Spokane Community College award of $1,000 to Arwen O’Leary, graduate of Ferris High School.
$1,000 Non-Traditional Scholarship: Tamileen Clardy, Donna McCaffrey, Staci Gray, Russ Sprinkle, Alesia Cunningham. Also,Larry McClain, Newport High School; Debbie Goolie, Mead High School; and Kelli Lewis, University High School.
$1,000 Lillian Dickson Scholarship: Kami Beckwith.
Garco Construction Scholarship: Darren Dahlke, Deer Park High School, $1,000; and Michelle Love, Mead High School, $1,035.
$1,000 KXLY Scholarship: Paul Bell.
$1,000 David & Dorothy Pierce Scholarship: Trisha Kemnitz, Central Valley High School.
$1,000 Dr. & Mrs. G.G. Schneider Scholarship: Kelly Witter, Colville High School.
$1,500 Zonta Club Scholarship: Jackie Maier.
$1,035 Gas Transmission Scholarship: Alfredo Llamedo.
$1,035 US Bank: Chris Mastin, Rogers High School.
$500 IBM Corporation Scholarship: Suzanne Anderson.
$500 Dr. Bob Burroughs Scholarship: Calla Hostetter.
$500 Sam Shikany Scholarship: Nikolay Nikonehuk.
$400 John Nau Memorial Scholarship: Ashenafi Sima.
Spokane Falls Community College scholarship recipients:

$1,000 Lawrence C. & Maurine A. Pence Educational Scholarships: Teri Hall, Amy Jennings, Melody Geddes, Mark McLees, Siew Ong, Lynda Peterson. Also Kari Forsen, Lewis and Clark High School; Catherine Hill, Shadle Park High School; Leslie McDonald, Deer Park High School; Mary Payne, Lake Roosevelt High School; Patricia Thomas, Northport High School; Audrey Townsend, Central Valley High School.
Tonya Allbee, graduate of North Central High School, also received the $1,000 Gerald (Jerry) R. Neswick Memorial Scholarship; Joshua Ruby, graduate of Ferris High School, $666.
