Pows Honored Monday

America’s former prisoners of war will be honored at a ceremony Monday at the Veterans Administration Medical Center.

The ceremony will place a special emphasis on World War II prisoners as the 50th anniversary of the end of that war draws near. It will include a speech by Col. John Strube, the commander of the Survival School at Fairchild Air Force Base. It begins at 10 a.m. in the dining hall.
