Husted Wins Pba Gem

Dave Husted earned the second jewel in professional bowling’s triple crown, beating Paul Koehler 266-245 in the title match of the $250,000 Bowling Proprietors Association of America’s U.S. Open.

Husted, 34, of Milwaukie, Ore., collected $46,000 and also earned a three-year exemption into the Tournament of Champions.

It was Husted’s second Open title. He also won in 1982.
