Posse May Be Rescued

Compiled From Wire Services

The Las Vegas Posse, a CFL team on the brink of being disbanded, may yet be sold and moved to Jackson, Miss.

The CFL “indefinitely postponed” its dispersal draft of the Posse’s players because the possibility of a sale reached a critical point.

Two businessmen, Norton Herrick of Boca Raton, Fla., and Billy Van Devender of Jackson, want to buy the Posse and move it to Mississippi.
