Wyakin Park Cleanup Planned
Residents living around Wyakin Park in northwest Spokane are organizing a cleanup Saturday afternoon.
The cleanup will be sponsored by the Indian Trail Cub Scouts.
Organizers are asking for help to clear paths, trim branches, pull weeds, plant flowers and pick up garbage.
Scouts from all over the area and other volunteers are invited.
There also will be an Easter penny hunt for children under the age of 10 from 3 to 4 p.m.
Volunteers are asked to bring rakes, shovels, gloves, pruning saws, wheelbarrows and droughtproof plants.
The park is west of Assembly and north of Francis.
