Ann Schoessler Ritzville, Wash.
Service for Ann T. Schoessler, 84, is planned for 11 a.m. Saturday at Zion Congregational Church in Ritzville. Vault burial will follow at Ritzville Memorial Cemetery. Danekas Funeral Home in Ritzville is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Schoessler died Wednesday.
She was born in Lance, Wash., and was a lifetime Adams County resident.
She graduated from high school in Ritzville and farmed with her husband, Walter Schoessler, near Ritzville.
They retired in 1973 and their son took over the farm. Her husband died in 1990 and she continued to live on the farm.
She is survived by one daughter, Marva Schoessler of Seattle; one son, Robert Schoessler of Ritzville; one brother, Bill McRae of Pomeroy, Wash.,; three sisters, Lucille Gardner of St. Maries, Bess Timerson of Spokane and Alma Moffat of Seattle; and three grandchildren.
She was a member of Zion Congregational United Church of Christ in Ritzville.

Alice Bryant Spokane
Memorial service for Alice E. Bryant, 93, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Liberty Park United Methodist Church. Hazen and Jaeger Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Bryant, a longtime Spokane resident, died Tuesday.
Her father A.E. Miller, was a partner in Miller, Mower and Flynne Department Store.
She graduated from North Central High School and attended the University of Washington.
She was a public health nurse and worked as a missionary for the Presbyterian Church in North Carolina and New Mexico.
She and her husband, Harold Bryant, volunteered with the Spokane Indians at Wellpinit, Wash., and lived in Spokane. He died in February.
Mrs. Bryant was a member of the Women’s Christian Temperance Union and Liberty Park United Methodist Church.
She is survived by one sister, Margaret Robertson of Spokane.

William Scott Coeur d’Alene
Service for William “Bill” K. Scott, real estate agent and a gypo logger, is set for 11 a.m. Saturday at Yates-Hodge Funeral Home, St. Maries. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
Mr. Scott, 75, died Wednesday in Coeur d’Alene.
He grew up in St. Joe City and graduated from St. Maries High School. During World War II he worked at Farragut Naval Station and the Naval Shipyards in Bremerton.
After the war, he went into logging and bought his own equipment in 1948.
He quit logging and was in the real estate business until his retirement in 1980.
He enjoyed building lawn furniture, hunting, fishing and playing cards.
Survivors include his wife, Olga, at home; one son, Dick Scott of St. Maries; one stepdaughter, Marlene Scott of Coeur d’Alene; one brother, Robert Scott of Plains, Mont.; two sisters, Velma Weaver of Myrtle Point, Ore., and Irene Werdell of Ocean Park, Ore.; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Amy Thurlow Sandpoint
Service for Amy F. Thurlow, a volunteer for the Senior Thrift Store, is set for 3 p.m. today at Coffelt’s Moon Chapel, Sandpoint. Interment will be at Pinecrest Memorial Park. Coffelt Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Thurlow, 91, died Tuesday in Sandpoint. She was born in Twin Valley, Minn.
In 1907 she moved to Colburn, Idaho, with her family in a covered wagon. She moved to Sandpoint in 1920 and fished commercially on Pend Oreille Lake.
She married Leonard Thurlow in Coeur d’Alene in 1941. He preceded her in death.
She was an active volunteer for the Senior Thrift Store for many years and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survivors include two daughters, Linda Rosholt of Sandpoint and Alice Dukart of Priest Lake, Idaho; one son, Charles Baker of Plains, Mont.; one sister, Mabel Selberg of Sandpoint; 13 grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Bonner Community Hospice, Sandpoint.
Raymond Kennedy Spokane
Memorial service for Raymond R. “Ray” Kennedy, 44, is planned for 6 p.m. today at Riplinger Funeral Home.
Mr. Kennedy died Monday.
He was born in Pittsburgh and had lived in Spokane for more than 20 years.
He was a radiation oncologist at Sacred Heart Medical Center.
He is survived by two sons, Abraham and Alan Kellogg, both of Spokane; his father, Robert Kennedy of Pittsburgh; three brothers, Anthony Rosensteel of Spokane, and Robert and Patrick Kennedy, both of Pennsylvania; and three sisters, Jackie, Charmaine and Phyllis Kennedy, all of Pennsylvania.

Minnie Hiatt Spokane
Service for Minnie O. Hiatt, 79, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at North Hill Christian Church with burial at Fairmount Memorial Park. Ball and Dodd Funeral Home-North.
Born in Kalispell, Mont., Mrs. Hiatt died Sunday.
She grew up in Kalispell and graduated from Flathead County High School in 1932.
She moved to Spokane from Pendleton, Ore., in 1948, and worked as a church secretary at Jefferson Street Christian Church for eight years and at Pacific Avenue Christian Church for four years.
She was a member of North Hill Christian Church.
Her husband, Charles Hiatt, died in 1989. She is survived by one son, Charles Hiatt of Hood River, Ore.; two sisters, Elaine Hoyem of Kalispell and Beulah Wagner of Albany, Ore.; and two grandsons.
Steven Sinclair Spokane
Memorial service for Steven D. Sinclair, 45, will be at 1 p.m. today at Riplinger Funeral Home.
Mr. Sinclair died March 31.
Born in Duluth, Minn., he was a respiratory therapist at St. Luke’s Hospital and Deaconess Medical Center and had graduated from Spokane Community College. He had lived in Spokane for nearly 30 years.
He served in the Army during the Vietnam War.
He is survived by three sons, Eric, Corey and Christopher Sinclair, all of Spokane; his mother, Audrey Ford of Spokane; seven brothers, Robert, Bill, Chuck, and John Sinclair, and Jim and Larry Lyons, all of Spokane, and Dennis Sinclair of Bremerton; and two sisters, Debra Ohmann of Spokane and Cheryl Savidge of Dayton, Ore.
Theodore Dawson Spokane
Memorial service for Theodore R. “Ted” Dawson, 78, is planned for 2 p.m. Monday at Unity Church of Truth. There will be private inurnment. Hennessey-Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Dawson, who died Sunday, was born in Spokane.
He graduated from Rogers High School, and in 1939 from Eastern Washington University. He was a coach and educator in Kettle Falls and College Place, Wash., and spent summers working for Great Northern Railway.
During this time he also played football in Spokane’s semipro league.
He retired in 1979 from Burlington Northern Railroad.
In addition to his wife of 55 years, Ruth, survivors include two daughters, Dee Dee Wigmore of New York City and Susan Huber of Woodland Hills, Calif.; and one sister, Margaret Von Gohren of Tacoma.
James McKeehan Cheney
No service will be held for James Emerson McKeehan, 86. A memorial celebration will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday at the home of Mike and Judy McKeehan, 222 North Sixth St., Cheney.
Mr. McKeehan, who died Wednesday, was born in Fort Oglethorpe, Ga.
He attended graduate school at the University of Oklahoma and became a math professor at Eastern Washington State College in 1957. He retired as a professor emeritus in 1976.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Edna; two sons, Bill McKeehan of Australia and Mike McKeehan of Cheney; three daughters, Susan McKeehan of Tumwater, Wash., Katie McKeehan of Newport, Ore., and Sara Hakim of Colfax, Wash.; and 13 grandchildren.
