A nearly flawless performance powered Stanford to a season-best 232.4 points and its third NCAA men’s gymnastics team title in four years in Columbus, Ohio.

Defending champion Nebraska also picked up its highest total of the season, 231.55 points, to finish second. The Cornhuskers have finished first or second in 15 of the last 17 championships.

At Athens, Ga., defending champion Utah, scoring 196.650 points, continued its domination of the NCAA Women’s Gymnastics Championships, capturing its ninth national title since the event began in 1982.

Michigan shared second with Alabama at 196.425. UCLA finished fourth and Oregon State sixth.
