Martha Haas Tekoa, Wash.
Graveside service for Martha Haas, 100, was Monday at Rosewood Cemetery in Fairfield.
Mrs. Haas died Thursday at home.
She was born in Fairfield.
She was a homemaker and a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Fairfield.
Her husband, Carl Haas, died in 1982.
She is survived by two daughters, Bertha Haas and Margaret Towne, both of Tekoa, Wash.; two sons, Gerald Haas of Tekoa and Alvin Haas of Fairfield; three sisters, Gertrude Atwell of Edmonds, Wash., Elsie Vogt of Plaza and Elfrieda Kennedy of Auburn, Wash.; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Donna Dewey Bothell, Wash.
Graveside service for Donna (Wakeley) Dewey, 59, was held last Wednesday at Floral Hills Cemetery in Lynnwood, Wash.
Born in Spokane, Mrs. Dewey died July 22 from a heart attack.
She worked at the Smokey Point Naval Base and had lived in the Seattle area for 20 years.
Her husband, Ed Dewey Jr., died in 1992.
She is survived by three daughters, Deanna Green of Lynnwood, Wash., Vikki Anthony of Bothell, Wash., and Doreen Owens of Federal Way, Wash.; her father and stepmother, Chauncey and Elenore Wakeley of Spokane; one sister, Carol Anderson of Spokane; and four grandchildren.

Floyd Dailing Sr. Spokane
Memorial service for Floyd Dailing Sr. 76, is set for 2 p.m. Saturday at Riplinger Funeral Home.
Mr. Dailing, a 50-year Spokane resident, died Saturday.
He was born Mondamin, Iowa.
He was a retired civilian employee of the Air Force.
Mr. Dailing had been a member of the Washington State Air National Guard and Eagles Lodge 2 and was a volunteer with Meals on Wheels and Habitat for Humanity.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Patricia Dailing; two sons, Floyd Dailing Jr. of Bullhead City, Ariz., and Jeffrey Dailing of Mead; and five grandchildren.

George Southard Newman Lake
Service for George D. Southard, 67, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at First Assembly of God in Spokane. Burial will be at Pines Cemetery. Riplinger Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Southard, who died Friday, was born in Oregon, Ill.
He was a machine operator with Operating Engineers Union Local 150 and had lived in Newman Lake for 10 years.
He was a member of Victorious Warriors Native American Assembly of God.
Mr. Southard is survived by two daughters, Vionne Tricker of Pendleton, Ore., and Georgianna Duitsman of Freeport, Ill.; his mother, Hazel Southard of Spokane; two brothers, Amos Southard of San Leandro, Calif., and Harold Southard of Rockford, Ill.; two sisters, Marilyn McAllister and Dorothy Harter, both of Spokane; six grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
Frank Peters Spokane
Memorial services for Frank Everett Peters, 40, is set for 3 p.m Thursday at Berean Bible Church. Private inurnment will be at Pines Cemetery. Thornhill Valley Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Peters, who was born in Spokane, died Sunday from cancer.
He graduated from Ferris High School in 1972 and worked for Burlington Northern Railroad for 21 years. He had been an engineer since 1978.
He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Lori Peters; two daughters, Kori and Kelsey Peters, and one son, Kyle Peters, all at home; his parents, Everett and Edith Peters of Spokane; three sisters, Vivian Coyne of Federal Way, Wash., Kathy Pearson of Spokane and Nancy Null of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and one brother, Stan Shenefelt of Kansas City, Mo.

Correne Hensley Spokane

Mrs. Hensley, who died Saturday, was born in Elwood, Neb.
She had lived in Spokane for 50 years and was the housekeeping supervisor at Sacred Heart Hospital for 15 years.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Luke Hensley; four sons, David Hensley of Seattle, Edward and Larry Hensley, both of Spokane, and James Hensley of Coeur d’Alene; one daughter, Ruth Foster of Spokane; one brother, Donald Hall of Yakima; one sister, Rachel Sturhman of Renton, Wash.; 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Morris Shriver Spokane
Service for Morris W. Shriver, 82, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Hazen and Jaeger Funeral Home with burial to follow at Riverside Memorial Park.
Mr. Shriver, a 53-year Spokane resident, died Sunday.
He was born in Orofino, Idaho.
He had worked for the Jensen-Byrd Co. for more than 30 years and retired in 1978.
He was a member of the Elks and Eagles Lodge in Spokane.
Mr. Shriver is survived by his wife of 57 years, Claire Shriver; one son, Edward Shriver of Othello, Wash.; one daughter, Linda McIntosh of Redmond, Wash.; two brothers, Wayne Shriver of Orofino and Neil Shriver of Ione, Wash.; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Kenneth Ward Post Falls
No service will be held for Kenneth L. Ward, 86. Thornhill Valley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Ward died July 25.
He was born in Spokane and graduated from Colville (Wash.) High School.
He worked for Boeing Aircraft for 30 years. He retired in 1973 and moved to Post Falls.
Mr. Ward was a member of the National Rifle Association, the Eagles Lodge and the Elks Lodge.
His wife, Elsie, preceded him in death.
He is survived by one stepdaughter, Fran Riecker of Northport, Wash.; two stepsons, Jim and Dennis Striker, both of Wallace; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Benjamin Rasley Spokane
Vigil service for Benjamin O. Rasley, 76, is planned for 7 p.m. today at St. Charles Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the church with burial at Holy Cross Cemetery. Hennessey-Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Rasley died Saturday.
He was a lifetime Spokane resident and graduated from Lewis and Clark High School.
He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II.
Mr. Rasley, who owned a service station, was a member of St. Charles Parish. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus, St. Charles Senior Ministries, the Corbin Senior Center and Pheasant Forever. He was a board member of the Deer Lake Property Owners Association and a volunteer for Meals on Wheels.
His wife, Betty Rasley, died in 1993.
He is survived by four sons, Tom, David and Jerry Rasley, all of Spokane, and Scott Rasley of Walla Walla; one sister, Winifred Wells of Frederick, Md.; and eight grandchildren.

Stan Morris Spokane
Service for Stan R. Morris, 80, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Thornhill Valley Funeral Home with burial to follow at Pines Cemetery.
Mr. Morris died Saturday at Sacred Heart Medical Center.
He was born in Kettle Falls, Wash., and had lived in Spokane for 49 years.
He was a retired real estate investigator and owned Mid-Mountain Land Co.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Lucille; two sons, Steven Morris of Spokane and Roger Morris of Wasilla, Alaska; two daughters, Alda Morris and Sally Rowlett, both of Spokane; and five grandchildren.
Florence Pettis Spokane
Memorial service for Florence Ursula Pettis, 70, will be at 2 p.m. today at Riplinger Funeral Home.
Mrs. Pettis, a lifetime Spokane resident, died Saturday.
She graduated from North Central High School and Eastern Washington University and taught fourth grade at Ridgeview Elementary School for 22 years.
Mrs. Pettis was a member of Alpha Delta Kappa sorority and was a retired member of the Washington Education Association.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Robert Pettis; two daughters, Linda Sullivan of Rainier, Wash., and Mary Russell of Greenacres; and six grandchildren.

Mrs. Lewis, who died Saturday, was born in Fremont, Ohio.
A homemaker, she had lived in Spokane for 50 years.
She was a member of Audubon United Methodist Church, Hennrett Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star, and the American Red Cross in Lamont, Wash.
Mrs. Lewis is survived by one daughter, Ann Rabe of Spokane; one son, William Lewis of Ephrata, Wash.; one grandson and two great-grandchildren.

Earl Gates Spokane

Mr. Gates, who died Saturday, was born in Tum Tum, Wash.
He was a firefighter for the city of Spokane at Station 16 and retired as a lieutenant in 1969. He had lived in Spokane for 75 years.
He was a member of Fowler United Methodist Church and the Retired Firefighters Association.
Mr. Gates is survived by his wife, Helen Gates; one daughter, Maureen Brandt of Bellevue, Wash.; three stepdaughters, Merna O’Neal of Tacoma, Jean Carkin of Auburn, Wash., and Virginia Briggs of Sagamore, Mass.; three sisters, Ruby Dubert, Ruth Davis and Marjorie Teufert, all of Spokane; two brothers, Richard Gates of Manson, Wash., and Clarence Gates of Spokane; nine grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson.

Mr. Fuhrman died Friday.
He was born in The Dalles, Ore., and had lived in Cheney for 30 years.
He worked for Burlington Northern Railroad and retired as an engineer after 47 years.
Mr. Fuhrman was a member of the Columbia Sheep Breeders Association, the Spokane Area Sheep Producers and the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.
He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Sharon; two sons, James Fuhrman and Mike Fuhrman, both of Cheney; two stepdaughters, Dixie Taylor of Yakima and Clarisa Veilleux of South Dakota; one stepson, Christopher Colon of Cheney; two brothers, James Fuhrman of Goldendale and Virgil Fuhrman of Mountlake Terrace, Wash.; three sisters, Vera Powers of Burlington, Wash., Maxine Johnson of Vancouver, Wash., and Marion Beach of Springfield, Ore.; and five grandchildren.

Alvin Hoffman Spokane

Mr. Hoffman, who died Sunday at home, was born in Ralston, Wash.
He worked as a shipping clerk for Snyders Bakery for 31 years and retired in 1988.
He is survived by his wife Patricia (Polson) Hoffman; one daughter, Robin Hoffmann; one son, Russell Hoffman; four brothers; five sisters; and six grandchildren.

Theresa Schaefer Spokane

Mrs. Schaefer, who died Friday, was born in North Dakota.
A homemaker, she had lived in Spokane for 70 years.
She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Parish.
Her husband, William Schaefer, died in 1977.
She is survived by one son, Ron Schaefer, and one daughter, Carol Yearout, both of Spokane; three sisters, Magdalene Rogers of Santa Cruz, Calif., Emily Riddle of Salem, Ore., and Agnes Brown of Spokane; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
