Police Continue Search For Video Store Robber
A man with a small revolver robbed the Premier Video store on North Market on Monday.
Two clerks said the man walked into the store about 5:30 p.m., pointed the gun at one clerk and demanded money. He tucked the cash into his waistband, thanked the clerk and ran from the store, Spokane police said.
Based on the clerks’ description, police stopped a man nearby who was wearing similar clothing, but neither clerk could positively identify him as the robber.
The man was let go after police found neither a gun nor money.
The robber is described as white, in his 20s or 30s and with a small build.
He had brownish-red hair that was thinning and unhealthy-looking teeth, police said.
He wore brown plastic sunglasses, a baseball cap, a white shirt with blue bands on the sleeves and baggy blue jeans.
