Traffic Delays Due On Several Highways
Motorists can expect delays, flaggers and one-lane traffic on several area highways in the coming weeks.
Today work crews will begin a one-day job repairing two sections of road, including U.S. Highway 95 in Bonner County from Algoma to Sagle.
On state Highway 6, load restrictions will be in place on a 10- mile strip of road from the Santa Y, west to Ramskull Creek near Emida, Idaho. Trucks will be restricted to 10-foot loads from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. Work on this project is expected to be done in September.
On Wednesday and Thursday, motorists traveling the east and westbound lanes of Interstate 90 will find one-lane traffic from Exit 6 at Seltice Way to Exit 11 at Northwest Boulevard.
On Friday and Saturday, work crews will be on Highway 95 at Plummer north and the Tensed area, and next week crews will be working on the east and west-bound lanes of Interstate 90, from Cataldo to Pinehurst, and Wallace to Mullan.
All these projects will cost about $10 million total.
