Ex-Campaign Worker Disavows 3-Way Sex

A former campaign worker for U.S. Rep. Mel Reynolds denied Thursday that she ever had threeway sex with the congressman and his teenage accuser.

Sophia Green also said she had never even seen Reynolds and the teenager, Beverly Heard, together, contradicting Heard’s testimony that the three of them had sex.

Prosecutors responded with records showing Reynolds paid Green’s apartment rent for nearly a year and sent her $550 last August, the same month he was indicted.

She repeatedly answered “no” and “never” when asked if she had ever had sex with Reynolds or Heard.
