Vacations Cancel Council Meeting

The number of council members taking summer vacations means they won’t be getting together tonight for their regular meeting.

They return Aug. 28 for a marathon session. Topping the agenda is a proposal to assume sole financial responsibility for fighting the Gypsy civil rights lawsuit.

Also, the council will discuss a proposal that would allow small apartments known as granny flats in residential areas.
