Alarms In Phoenix

Associated Press

Forget about going to Phoenix for your health.

The air here has gotten so bad it’s setting off carbon monoxide alarms.

The National Weather Service issued an “air stagnation advisory” for the Phoenix area to remain in effect at least through Saturday morning.

Air-pollution advisories have been issued every day for a week, and carbon monoxide levels have exceeded federal standards at least twice during that period.
