French Doctors Rally To Protest Fee Cuts

After almost a month of strikes and protests by public workers, doctors joined the fray with a rally of their own Sunday, saying cuts in social security would come from their pockets.

More than 2,000 doctors from across France demonstrated in Paris against the proposed changes, which would force doctors to reduce their fees and require all patients to go through general practitioners.
