Troopers Prepare For Busy Weekend

Troopers and sheriff’s deputies will be teaming up to arrest drunken drivers this holiday weekend in Spokane County.

Starting today, about 15 troopers and deputies will be working night shifts in different areas.

The goal of the “special emphasis team” is to encourage safe driving on area highways. Authorities encourage everyone who will drink alcohol this weekend to use designated drivers.
