At a glance: EWU faces its best opportunity to get its second win against the NAIA-affiliated Missionaries. The Eagles’ success could depend on the play of 6-foot-8 center Melvin Lewis and sixth man Mike Sims. Lewis will play in only his second game (he had 10 points against Gonzaga on Dec. 22) after being cleared to play by the NCAA, which was investigating the validity of some junior college credits. Sims is averaging eight points and 4.3 rebounds per game. Former West Valley High School standout Andrew Schillinger directs the Missionaries, averaging 7.6 assists and 1.6 steals per game.
