Gang-Related Shooting Kills Three, Hurts Four

Compiled From Wire Services

A gang-related shooting spree outside a pizza parlor killed three young people and wounded four, police said.

A young man jumped from behind a fence Thursday evening and shot about 10 rounds at a dozen young people, police said. The group had just walked out of Me-N-Ed’s pizza parlor for a cigarette break, witnesses said.

“It was non-stop rapid fire with no return fire,” said George Ruiz, a witness. “I don’t think he stopped until he emptied the clip.”

No arrests had been made by late Friday afternoon.

A bystander, believed to be in her 20s, died at the scene. A 16-year-old boy and 13-year-old girl died Friday morning from head wounds.
