Teens Extradited From Idaho

From Staff Reports

Two Spokane 18-year-olds arrested in a two-state crime spree were extradited from Idaho to Washington on Wednesday, police said.

Johnas Bower and William Caietti face multiple charges in an abduction and rape in Spokane and an armed robbery in the Spokane Valley last month.

Arraignment is expected later this week.

The teens had been held in the Idaho County Jail in Grangeville since their Jan. 23 arrest. They were charged with eluding an officer and possession of stolen property.

The teens were arrested near Grangeville after law enforcement agencies in Idaho had been notified by Spokane authorities to be on the lookout for the men.

Spokane police and sheriff’s deputies allege Caietti and Bower raped a friend’s mother, took her car and drove to the Spokane Valley, where they shot up a convenience store and stole gasoline and cash.
