Charles Leads Senior Tournament

Bob Charles shot an even-par 71, one of only two rounds of par or better on a blustery day, and moved into a tie with Tom Wargo after two rounds of the Royal Caribbean Classic senior golf tournament.

America’s newest “Walter Mitty,” struggling Texas cattle farmer Robert Landers, fell victim to the wind with a 79 that left him at 154. Landers, 51, who is making his pro debut under intense media scrutiny, has yet to break par or make a birdie.
