European Execs’ Outlook Brightens

From Staff And Wire Reports

Confidence is booming among European business leaders, most of whom see their companies in better shape 12 months from now, according to a poll released Wednesday.

But longer term, they are more pessimistic about western Europe’s prospects.

The survey by Louis Harris and Associates found that 70 percent of top executives of large European companies expected their companies to be in better shape within the next 12 months. Back in 1993 only 49 percent felt that way, and in 1992 only 19 percent.
