Man Held For Lsu Threats
A man was being held for allegedly making obscene telephone calls in which he threatened to harm LSU basketball coach Dale Brown and some members of his team, university police said.
Daniel Mark Hanberg, 28, was arrested at his home during LSU’s 67-61 loss to Mississippi State on Wednesday night, said LSU police Capt. Ricky Adams.
The arrest followed an investigation by LSU police and the FBI, Adams said.
In addition to threatening to harm Brown, a Louisiana television station said Hanberg threatened to kill LSU guards Landers Nolley and Randy Livingston. Livingston is out for the season with a fractured kneecap.
