Man Robs Downtown Bank

From Staff And Wire Reports

A man robbed a U.S. Bank in downtown Spokane on Wednesday, police said.

The robber went into the bank at W508 Third about 1:30 p.m., wrote on a deposit slip and handed it to a teller. The note demanded money, and the teller gave the man some cash. He left on foot.

Police would not say how much money was taken.

The robber is described as white, in his 30’s, about 5-foot-10, 160 pounds with a neatly trimmed beard. He wore a white baseball cap, plaid button-down shirt and blue jeans.

He was in and out of the bank in 27 seconds.
