The Idaho Fish and Game Department’s Panhandle Region completed 36 agreements with private landowners to enhance wildlife habitat on private land in 1994.

The Habitat Improvement Program, known as HIP, included 32 waterfowl projects on 128 acres and four upland game projects on 161 acres in the northern three counties.
