Ancient Mollusk Found In Bothell

From Staff And Wire Reports

A 70 million-year-old mollusk that was around when Tyrannosaurus rex roamed the Earth has been found in suburban Bothell by a construction crew digging a sewer line.

The mollusk, called an ammonite, could be among the oldest fossils ever discovered in the Seattle area. It was located about 20 feet deep in glacial deposits.
