Alpine skiing

This week’s colder temperatures and fresh snow have created spring-like conditions at most area resorts. Hotline: 624-8944.

Schweitzer’s freestyle snowboard competition that was postponed last weekend has been rescheduled for 9 a.m. Saturday. Fireworks start at 6 p.m.

Nordic skiing

Mount Spokane’s 25km trail system was groomed this week and is in good shape. Hotline: 238-4025.

Schweitzer will be having a free Moonlight Cross Country ski tour Saturday night starting at 6 p.m. in the village. Info: (800)831-8810.

Snowmobiling

Trails on Mount Spokane and North and South Baldy were groomed this week but report icy conditions. Updates: 456-5786.

Cold temperatures, fresh snow and recent grooming in the North Meadows, Peacock Meadows, Starvation Creek and Kerr Camp areas have made conditions excellent in the Methow Valley. There will be a Poker Run at the Boulder Creek snow park Saturday starting at 9 a.m. Info: (509)422-7300.

The 350-mile trail system around Priest Lake was groomed this week and is in good condition.
