Deputy Interrupts Holdup, Arrests One

From Staff Reports

One man escaped and another was arrested after a sheriff’s deputy interrupted an armed robbery early Sunday at a Qwik-Stop service station, E924 Francis.

A Spokane County deputy who happened to be parked outside during the robbery chased two men from the store about 3:45 a.m.

Robin A. Seymour, 22, of E531 Crown, was carrying a pellet gun and $69 when he was arrested, officials said. He faces a charge of first-degree robbery with a weapon.

The other man was described as a white, 18 to 21 years old, 5 feet 8 inches tall and about 155 pounds. He was wearing baggy blue jeans, an oversized flannel shirt and a Notre Dame baseball cap.

Spokane city police are investigating the robbery.
