U.S. Will Recheck Lead Paint Tests
The U.S. government is returning to more than 85 public housing projects across the nation to check whether tests on poisonous lead paint were accurate, The Orlando Sentinel reported.
The government is concerned its findings may be useless because of flawed testing methods.
The result could be an overhaul of a cleanup program that spent hundreds of millions of dollars since the late 1980s, the newspaper said Saturday.
