Here is a look at action Monday in the Washington Legislature:

GOVERNOR:

No major action.

SENATE: The Committee on Health and Long Term Care approved and sent to the full Senate SB5653, which would shift responsibility for investigating welfare fraud from the Department of Social and Health Services to the Attorney General’s Office.

The Ways and Means Committee approved and sent to the full Senate SB5235, adding a seventh judge to the Clark County Superior Court bench.

HOUSE: Approved and sent to the Senate HB1110, to prohibit the Department of Natural Resources from entering into agreements with the federal government without prior legislative and gubernatorial approval.

Bill introduced:

- HB1838, to ban use of the Kingdome for baseball played with replacement players.
