East Valley Dinner Will Honor Staff

The East Valley School District this week announced plans for a 1995 Spotlight on Education Dinner. The event, scheduled for May 4, would honor non-teaching staff workers.

“We want to recognize classified and other staff members,” said Superintendent Chuck Stocker.

The district will select five outstanding workers for special recognition, he said.

East Valley is also seeking to lease a maintenance building at Euclid and Barker. The current maintenance building at the bus garage needs major improvements, Stocker said.

“It’s more expensive to fix it than trying to find an alternative site,” he said.
