Top-ranked Massachusetts survived a scare in Olean, N.Y., Tuesday night, scoring 10 of the last 11 points in overtime to escape with an 81-76 victory over St. Bonaventure (6-7, 0-3 Atlantic-10).

Marcus Camby scored seven of his 28 points in overtime as the Minutemen (9-1, 1-0) rallied from a 75-71 deficit in the final 2:24 of the extra session to win for the first time ever as the nation’s No. 1 team.

Tony Delk and Rodrick Rhodes each scored 17 points as the Wildcats (9-2, 3-0 Southeastern Conference) used a balanced attack to beat the Gators (7-4, 1-2) in Gainesville, Fla.
