Boxing Inducts 15

Compiled From Wire Services

Longtime super bantamweight champion Wilfredo Gomez, Mike Tyson mentor Cus D’Amato and flyweight champ Masahiko “Fighting” Harada were among 15 ring personalities selected for enshrinement in the International Boxing Hall of Fame.

The list also includes former heavyweight champion Max Baer, lightweight champion Bob Montgomery and Arthur Mercante, who will be the first modern-day referee inducted into the hall.

The 1995 inductees, including the five still living, will be officially enshrined when the hall hosts its sixth annual induction ceremony on June 11.
