Tell Us About Best Friends

I remember hiding in the lemon tree with Johnny Schneider and pelting my older sister with rotten fruit when she came to find us.

Johnny and I always got in trouble together and I could tell him anything. We were best friends, until I moved away and broke both our hearts.

Everyone has a best friend. Tell me about yours in 300 words or less. Make me laugh or cry with your favorite tale.

Send a photo of you and this special person. If we publish your story, we’ll send you a “Close to Home” surprise. Start writing now - the deadline is Feb. 17.

Send your stories to Cynthia Taggart, “Close to Home,” 608 Northwest Blvd., Suite 200, Coeur d’Alene, ID, 83814; or FAX to 765-7149.
