Sorting Out The Salmon Issue

The federal government is about to propose a Snake River salmon recovery plan that could cost millions of dollars.

This issue is complicated and far reaching. Besides the wild salmon, at stake are the Northwest’s low power rates, industries that rely on that power and the rivers to survive, and a way of life for many people.

The Spokesman-Review will cover the debate as it unfolds over the year.
