The fastest way to wedded bliss may be on the Caribbean islands of Antigua, Barbuda and the Caymans, where the three-day waiting period for marriage licenses has been eliminated.

The cost is about $200, for the marriage license and the ceremony with the marriage officer. Valid passports are required, and for the previously married, original or certified copies of divorce decrees or death certificates.
