Thirsty Gunman Robs Service Station

From Staff And Wire Reports

Cash and a sports drink were taken during an armed robbery Saturday at a North Side service station.

A man entered Allen’s Cenex, 2321 Northwest Blvd., displayed a handgun and demanded money. He stuffed the money in his jeans pocket, swiped a sports drink and fled.

Spokane police were still searching for the suspect Saturday night. He was described as a thin Asian man in his 20s with brown hair and a white T-shirt. One witness said he saw an old, light-colored 4-door station wagon leaving the area, but wasn’t sure if it was driven by the robber.
