Three Arrested In Gunfire Incident

Three men were arrested early Saturday after sheriff’s deputies responded to at least 15 phone calls from neighbors reporting shots fired in Greenacres.

When deputies arrived at 19300 Dove Circle, two people were firing guns into the ground. A search of the property and home found 14 firearms, but deputies were not sure who owned them.

The men, all of them 28 years old, were arrested on charges of second-degree reckless endangerment.

Deputies identified the men as Robert Ashby of Spokane, Christopher Kerr of Snohomish, Wash., and Robert Popenhager of Seattle.
