Turnbull National Wildlife Refuge near Cheney is issuing a 1996 Federal Duck Stamp, with proceeds from stamp sales benefiting a fund for acquiring wetlands for North American waterfowl.

The stamps cost $15 each, with over 98 cents per Federal Duck Stamp dollar going directly to the fund, and are available at any post office as well as at the Turnbull Refuge.

Those purchasing the stamp, which is valid through June 30, 1996, will be entitled to free admission into all National Wildlife Refuges in the United States where an entrance fee is charged.

In addition, those buying the stamp at the Turnbull Refuge will also receive a special certificate from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.

The Federal Duck Stamp is required for all waterfowl hunting.
